It appears that there is supposed to be programming or binding plug with this esc for battery type selection and F/R or F/B/R mode selection. I got no such plug with either the unit in my Fletcher Destroyer or the spare unit that I bought. Does it find Neutral and Reverse automatically? Also there is no water cooling system installed in the Fletcher destroyer. Do I need to install one before I can run the model?

If you read the legend on the ESC, you can see the one is for a jumper for NIMH or Lipo battery type. The second I believe is left open for F/R mode. No water cooling is needed.

Can this speed controller be used for airplane s that call for 120 amp ESC Marine normally means water resistant Thanks

No, We do not recommend this speed control be used in airplanes. It requires water cooling.
